Paul Bunyan's Paddle Hunt - Paul Bunyan's paddle needs to be found before the beans are raised on Wednesday, July 11, so he can stir the beans! One clue will be released each day (July 9-11) at 9 a.m. on our Facebook page and 10 a.m. on this page.
July 10th:
6:00 p.m. Burying of the Beans Ceremony
The beans, prepared from Paul Bunyan’s secret recipe behind locked doors, are buried in 5 huge cast iron kettles and cooked over a wood fire during the night. Join us for this special ceremony! The largest kettle, THOR, is on display by the Pequot Lakes Chamber building.
July 11th:
9:00 - 4:00 p.m. Craft Fair and Concessions along the Paul Bunyan Trail
11:15 a.m. Coronation Ceremony - Who will be this year's Queen or King Bean?
11:30 a.m. Raising of the beans
12:00 p.m. Drawing of winners for the Stars & Stripes / Bean Hole Days Raffle - $5
tickets will be sold until 11 a.m. Recieve a free Blinkie Button with a raffle ticket
purchase. Must be 18 years of age to purchase.
12:00 p.m. Serving of the Beans- Our incredibly friendly volunteers serve a free and delicious bowl of beans, bun, and beverage to thousands of attendees.
