2012 Crosslake In Bloom - Luncheon

Crosslake in Bloom is a spring and summer campaign to encourage the beautification of Crosslake through the use of plants and flowers.

Pine Peaks Retreat & Event Center located 7 miles NW of Crosslake off Couty Road 1 is the site for our event.  Beginning at 10:30 a.m. Vendors will have garden themed items available for you to shop and educational exhibitors will be sharing information so you'll want to come prepared with your specific questions!
You're also welcome and encouraged to explore the entire Pine Peaks Retreat and Event Center!  This property was previously an 80-acre dairy farm that had been in the Peterson family for four generations. Proprietors Dave and Julie Peterson have transformed Pine Peaks Retreat and Event Center into an extraordinary property with manicured grounds and blooming wildflowers.

Turn in your Scavenger Hunt game piece and take part in the table contest judging and cast your ballot before 12:00 noon as prizes will be awarded for these events. 

Maucieri's Italian Bistro will servce up a delicious buffet of lunch beginning at 12:00 noon followed by a presentation on" Top Perennials for Central Minnesota" by Jodie Ramsey and Julie Schroer of  Jean's The Right Plant Place.

At approximately 1:30 we'll send you out on a self-guided tour to visit five Crosslake residential properties where you'll be able to wander thru gardens and get some great ideas for your own yard!  Out of respect for the gracious sharing of these gardens, we ask that you conclude your self-guided tour by 5:00 p.m.
