Event Description:
The Park and Library Foundation (PAL) of Crosslake is proud to offer an entertaining day of activities to the Crosslake Area residents and visitors. This event showcases all of the recreational activities that the Community Center has to offer. It is also a day for area crafters and artists to display and sell their work. We are delighted to add musical entertainment to this year's activities. A wide variety of music is scheduled that spans from the '30s to the '80s with genres from swing, jazz, gospel and rock.
Our main focus is to provide a day of free, fun activities to area residents and visitors - so reserve June 30 for a day of fun in Crosslake! We invite you to check out the many different businesses located throughout our town.
9 a.m. - Noon - Tennis Tournament*
10 a.m. - Medallion Hunt
10 a.m. - noon - Make your own Pottery
10 a.m. - 3:30 pm - Cart Tours of the Park
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Face Painting, Popcorn, Arts & Crafts Sales, Fire Truck Rides, Woodcarving Demonstrations, Community Club Activities
10:30 a.m. - Disc Golf Tourney - Novice Division*
11 a.m. - Geocaching demonstration, Walk in the Park, Zumba Dancing, Children's Scavenger Hunt, Water Gardening Tips
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Glenda's Clown Troupe, Day in the Park Diner
11:30 a.m. - Fergie's Free Throw Contest
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Rosemaling Demonstration
Noon - Childrens Sidewalk Art Contest, Garden Tours
Noon - Music by: The Last Generation
1-2 p.m. - Kid's Olympic Games
1-3 p.m. - Make your own Pottery
1:30 p.m. - Music by: Mark Smeby
2 p.m. - The Beauty and Wonder of Costa Rica, Geocaching Demonstration, Garden Tour
