Event Description:
Don’t miss some of the best fireworks of the year! Held over Hay Lake of the Whitefish Chain. See by boat or by car. The fireworks are set off from the public access on the south shore and are visible from Lower Hay Lake, most of Upper Whitefish Lake, Upper Hay Lake, Nelson Lake, Bertha Lake and others. There are also many goo viewing points from land as well.
 
The Minnesota DNR will be providing security and monitoring borts to ensure safety.
 
If you plan on launching your boat on Lower Hay on the 14th, plan ahead. The Lower Hay Lake access will be closed for the day at noon.
 
The Friends of Lower Hay Lake uses this as a fundraiser. Visit their website to make a donation and get more information on the fireworks. www.FriendsOfLowerHay.org.
