  • Registration/Check-In Opens. 
    Persons may register for any event up to 20 minutes before event start time.

  • Time Trial
    20 MIN long lap // Huntington// Cost: $25-$35
  • Spirit of Cuyuna Bike Art Exhibition Opens

  • Vendor Village Opens in Crosby Memorial Park

  • Kidz Korner Opens
    Cost: FREE // Tent for the kids with bicycle related crafts and activities.   
 
10:00 AM 
  • Bike Parade/Costume Competition
    Anyone who owns a bike is encouraged to join the Spirit of Cuyuna Bike Parade, even wear costumes, to show support for biking in the Cuyuna lakes area. The parade will roll through downtown Crosby starting at 10 a.m., with staging at 9:45 a.m. at Crosby Memorial Park.
  • Bicycle Demos

11:00 AM 
  • Hill Climb Challenge @ Crusher
    Cost: $8-$15 //  Longest and hardest climb in the system is Crusher to the top of overlook. Est time to complete: 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Youth Skills Camp
    (Teddy Schaefer & Nick Evanoff) @ TBD // Cost: FREE // A clinic to introduce basic mountain bike riding skills to youth to not only get them through the rest of the day but carry them into a long future of mountain biking.. Individuals should have a solid grasp of riding a two wheeled bicycle including basic balance and turning skills.  Helmets required.  Will touch on skills such as turning, pedal placement, position on the bicycle, proper breaking techniques, looking ahead on trail.
  • Beginner’s Skills Camp
    (Unknown) @ TBD // Cost: FREE // Divided up into men’s and women’s groups.  We’ll take you through some of the skills to help you make the most of your riding experience this weekend.  Learn some key tricks to riding off road.
  • Pontoon Tours

12:30 PM   
 
  • Guided Group Rides
    Cost: FREE // Youth (3 mile), Beginner (5 mile), Intermediate (10 mile), Advanced (20 mile)
  • Basic Maintenance Clinic
    (30 min) Learn basics about caring for your bicycle.  Including changing a tire and  oiling a chain. Be ready to hit the trails when they open and not get held up by easily avoided problems.

  • GeoCaching Clinic

1:00 PM   
 
  • Trail preparedness 101
    (30 min) Find out what things are important to bring along on a ride and what things are okay to leave at home. Learn to prepare for your ride depending on the location and duration and numerous other parameters.

  • BMX Stunt Show
    Another highlight of this year’s festival will be BMX stunt shows performed at 1:30 and 5:15 p.m. by the Twin Cities Fantasy Factory, a professional BMX stunt group featuring world-class BMXers showing off their best jumps, flips and tricks.
2:00 PM    
  • Grand Casino Poker Ride
    Cost: $10-$20 // Open to all ages and skill levels. 4 to 7 mile loop.  Riders pick up the first and last cards from Crosby Memorial Park and three other cards while out on the trail from various pre-determined points.  Best hand wins.  Depending on number of participants there may be different categories such as men’s, women’s, youth etc.  Prizes are yet to be determined.  Each stop is manned by volunteers or/and sponsors. Stops may require participants to complete a “goofy” challenge in order to receive their card.

5:15 PM

From the Twin Cities

  1. Leaving the Twin Cities (as if heading towards St. Cloud) Head west on Interstate 94.

  2. Take exit 207B toward Minnesota 101 Bypass N/Elk River (0.9 mi)

  3. Merge onto Main St/MN-101 N Continue to follow MN-101 N (6.4 mi)

  4. Continue onto US-169 N (75.6 mi)

  5. Turn left onto MN-18 W (4.3 mi)

  6. Turn right onto MN-6 N (9.5 mi)

From Duluth

  1. Head south out of Duluth onto I-35 S. (20.4 mi)

  2. Take exit 235 for MN-210 toward Carlton/Cromwell (0.3 mi)

  3. Turn right onto MN-210 W (55.3 mi)

  4. Turn left onto MN-210 W/US-169 S. Continue to follow MN-210 W (18.5 mi)

  5. Turn right onto MN-210 W/MN-6 N/Archibald Rd. Continue to follow MN-210 W/MN-6 N (4.0 mi)

From Fargo

  1. Head south on Roberts St N toward 1st Ave N  (472 ft)

  2. Turn left onto Np Ave. Entering Minnesota. (0.7 mi)
