SCCA Trans-Am Series

Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Pro Racing is bringing its Trans-Am Series back to BIR Labor Day Weekend. The Trans-Am Series dates back to its first season in 1966. Throughout the years, some of the greatest names in motorsports have participated in the Trans-Am Series. It is SCCA Pro Racing at its finest, featuring some of the top pro racers in the world. You'll see exotic sports cars like the Qvale Mangusta, Panoz Esperante and Jaguar XKR racing side by side in this ultra-competitive series. When the Trans-Am Series isn’t on the track, the SCCA Jack Pine Sprints will be entertaining fans. It's a Dual Event Weekend, with the 24th Annual Muscle Car Shootout on the drag strip. Two outstanding events for the price of a single ticket! And racing will go on rain or shine! On-site camping is available.
