DESCRIPTION:Bring your little ghouls and goblins to the Cross Lake Recreation Area's Camp Spooktacular hosted by the volunteers of Light Up the Dam on Saturday\, Oct 24th from 3:00 - 6:30 p.m. for a safe\, fun place for them to trick-or-treat! Complimentary hot cocoa for all\, and one complimentary hot dog for every child dressed in costume! Stick around for our wagon ride tour of lights! From 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM\, we'll explore the eerie and creatively decorated campsites. Special thanks to the Crosslake Log Village for donating the wagon that make this ghostly adventure possible. It's a howling good time you won't want to miss!Bring strollers and wagons for the kids as no vehicles will be allowed into the campground from 3:00 to 8:30. Want to participate? Bring your decorated camper and make it a weekend trip for the family! Click here for camper registrationThere is no charge to attend this family friendly event. Donations will be accepted benefiting Light Up the Dam\, a non-profit community effort to adorn the Pine River Dam and surrounding Crosslake Recreational area with seasonal lighting. You'll see an American Flag in the summer\, Pumpkin in the fall\, Christmas Wreath\, archway and lit trees for the holidays and a Shamrock in the spring. Follow Light Up the Dam on Facebook\, and volunteer to help if you're able!
