The American Solar Challenge (road event) and Formula Sun Grand Prix (track event) are collegiate level competitions, organized by Innovators Educational Foundation, to design, build, and drive solar vehicles. FSGP is not associated with Formula 1 racing.

The Formula Sun Grand Prix is more than just a competition, it's a test of engineering, strategy, and endurance. 

The American Sun Challenge (ASC) is a multi-day, cross-country competition where collegiate teams design, build, and drive solar-powered vehicles across thousands of miles. This challenge tests not only engineering and energy efficiency but also strategy, teamwork, and endurance.

The Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP) is a multi-day, track competition where collegiate teams design, build, and race solar-powered vehicles on the track competing to complete the most laps. This challenge tests not only engineering and energy efficiency but also strategy, teamwork, and endurance.
