A 12-Mile relay swim of Gull Lake.
To raise $10,000 in honor of the fallen and wounded Marines of the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment who served in Afghanistan in 2009.
In honor of the fallen and wounded Marines of the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment who served in Afghanistan in 2009, Cragun’s is hosting this event in conjunction with Mills Fleet Farm.
The swimmers (Marines) will come ashore at Cragun’s after a 12-mile swim across Gull Lake that starts for them at 6 a.m.. This is an official event of the Brainerd/Baxter 4th of July Celebration!
Color guard presentation along with a 14-pc band with music, free hamburgers, hot dogs and beer will be provided.
