Pig races, fireworks, parades, entertainment! Come celebrate our Independence Day with Fourth of July activities July 3-4 in Pequot Lakes. New this year, enjoy the July 3 pig races, followed by entertainment and fireworks! July 4 highlights include the annual parade! This two-day event is loaded with family fun events, including Moon Jumps, arts and crafts fair, Pequot Lakes Idol contest, and more. Additional July 4 Parade Day information:
- Free shuttle bus service - This free service will run between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. from Eagle View Elementary School Parking Lot on Crow Wing County Road 11. Park there and ride the shuttle bus in to Pequot Lakes.
- Roads Closed - County Road 11 and County Rd 112 will be closed to thru traffic at 11 a.m. Parking will not be allowed on County Road 11.
- Parking - Parking is available at TDS. Please cross at stoplights. There is no parking along the parade route. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed.
- Handicapped parking - Handicapped parking will be available on Government Drive, East Butler Street, at St. Alice Church, and on Old Highway 371 (Pequot Lakes Dental). Spaces will be marked. Arrive early!
