Learn how customers find your business online and how to promote our online presence using search engine optimization (SEO) and online advertising. We'll also introduce tools that will help you run your business online, including Google Analytics and Trends.
In this workshop we’ll discuss best practices for:
- Creating a free Google My Business Listing
- Improving your website’s visibility in Google’s organic search results, on all devices
- Advertising your business on Google

About The Speaker:
Dave Meyer, a resident of Crosslake, is a speaker for Google's Get Your Business Online program. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications and has presented digital marketing topics to thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada. Dave's presentations include more than 250 webinars on topics like SEO, advertising, content marketing, and sales strategy. Dave was named 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce in Minneapolis., and has been recognized by organizations including the International Association of Busioness Communicators (IABC), the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) and many others as a thought leader in marketing and communications.
About the Success Series:
The Blue Ox Business Academy's Success Series is a series of 90-120 minute professional development workshops held once per month from January through May. The goal is to give participants tangible, take away ideas that they can immediately apply to their work in order to gain new business, improve customer retention, save money, and/or market to new audiences. Geared for entrepreneurs, seasoned industry professionals, and budding leaders alike, the Success Series will give participants new ideas and strategies to immediately help grow their business and improve their professional lives.
