The H.O.G.s are back in town! The Minnesota State H.O.G. Rally will be held in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Harley-Davidson® motorcycle riders will be coming to Brainerd Lakes Area this June 26-28 for the Harley Owners Group®’s annual Minnesota State H.O.G. Rally. (Last in Brainerd in 2012).
The 3-day event is expected to bring together approximately 700 Harley® riders for riding, games and fellowship plus a great time at the Lakes Jam music festival, Cragun’s Resort, Viking Land Harley Davidson and the surrounding area. Currently riders are coming from 10 states other than Minnesota including Florida and Arizona. Check out the schedule and all of the details at www.mnstatehogrally.comThe rally schedule is organized, so attendees have opportunities on both Friday and Saturday to ride and enjoy the many combinations of beautiful roads along lakes and rivers that connect the passport stops. Passport stops are located at selected small town destinations located within a 50 mile distance of rally headquarters. Each stop offers unique opportunities for shopping, site seeing, plus food and beverages.
The public is invited to check out the on bike games held on Friday at Nisswas parade through Brainerd on Saturday (2pm). The parade will not be like any other. Imagine hundreds of bikes going past at a low enough speed to enjoy their beauty, but fast enough speed to feel the rumble.
The Parade starts at Pine Square on east Oak Street, proceeds west on Oak St., turns north on 8th Street, then west on Laurel St. through Downtown, across the Mississippi turning south on SW 4th, east at round-about on College Drive to the round-about and then back west on College Dr to the parking lot south of the college athletic fields. Prime locations to watch are Downtown Brainerd on Laurel Street and on College Drive near the bridge.
Registration to participate in the event is open to Harley Owners Group members or guests. Harley Owners can renew or register to become a member and join the Rally at Cragun’s starting at Noon on Thursday June 26th.
