No matter when you decide to visit, you’ll find events happening. We host signature events like the Pequot Lakes Stars & Stripes Days in July. Have you been to the best St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Minnesota?! You’ll find the parade in Crosslake. How about kickin’ your boots up at Lakes Jam—the Lakes Area’s biggest country and rock fest. Other local businesses and communities host festivals, live music, and even fireworks. Make these popular events a family tradition.

Description
Created by the Brainerd Jaycees in 2020 as a way to help local organizations and charity groups facing uncertainty due to the pandemic, America’s Ice Fishing Tournament became a way to provide an exciting virtual tournament for participants to enjoy and a way to raise funds for charity.
The 4th tournament date will be February 8th, 2025, and is open to anglers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The Brainerd Jaycees have graciously transitioned custodianship of the tournament to the team at Confidence Learning Center.
Eligible species include walleye/sauger, northern pike, crappie, perch, and sunfish. All fish must be caught through a naturally formed sheet of ice on a public body of water.
Tournament will be run through the FishDonkey app, from the frozen body of water of your choice!
