No matter when you decide to visit, you’ll find events happening. We host signature events like the Pequot Lakes Stars & Stripes Days in July. Have you been to the best St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Minnesota?! You’ll find the parade in Crosslake. How about kickin’ your boots up at Lakes Jam—the Lakes Area’s biggest country and rock fest. Help us rename Bigfoot! 

Come out to the Welcome Center to submit your best name ideas for a chance to have your pick chosen as this year’s official name. Get creative, have fun, and be part of the legend! 

Name submissions will be accepted from May 22nd - 28th 

Voting will be May 29th - June 3rd 

The new name will be revealed on June 5th at 1:00pm.
