To celebrate our 25th Anniversary here at LAPS, we’ve chosen one of our own former clients, Whelma DeKontee Hennessy, as our guest speaker. Her life in Liberia was marked by shame and trauma until a miracle changed its course. She came to America to find freedom, yet still found herself bound to the past.
