About the Panel:

Biff Ulm, Nisswa
Biff owns and operates three different businesses based in the Lakes Area. Zaiser's is a brick and mortar retail store located in downtown Nisswa. MN Nice Enough manufactures and distributes retail goods. They operate two distinct divisions. One division sells wholesale to specialty boutiques. The direct to consumer branch that is one hundred percent online. Biff created his first business based website in 1999. Looking for tools to better serve customers online has been an integral part of Biff's businesses since. 

Every customer and business has different needs. Biff can help identify the best first step for anyone exploring the idea of creating relationships online through social media, text based communications, email lists, e-commerce systems and business to business platforms.

Aryn Kriesel, Crosslake
Aryn has created websites for Ardor Boutique, BluPaisley and her own for Honeyed Boutique. Most of her experience has been helping boutiques locally, as she used to work for the businesses listed and marketing for Morey's Seafood Market. All of the websites use a shopify platform which exemplifies Aryn's expertise with e-commerce on top of running her social media accounts. Aryn's educational background includes a Masters in English and Writing.

Chris Smith, Brainerd
  • Minnesota Makerspace (owner); Finalist from the 2019 Destination Downtown Business Challenge. MN Makerspace empowers customers with tools, teamwork and technology to create cool DIY projects. MN Makerspace is also a retail business with custom made products.
  • Deep Mind Design (founder and owner); Offers a wide variety of Graphic Design services
