The Brainerd Book Club will meet online via Zoom on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 1 pm for our next book discussion of The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead. “Whitehead brilliantly dramatizes a strand of American history through the story of two boys unjustly sentenced to a hellish reform school in Jim Crow-era Florida."
