I have been playing high-energy acoustic folk-Americana music throughout MN for the past 15 years. I play a combination of original, traditional and reinterpreted popular cover music.

The first time I heard my middle school band simultaneously sustain a C chord was the first time I realized that I loved the process of making music. I took a deep breath and buzzed my lips into a rented trumpet and what I heard was the most glorious sound I had ever heard in my entire life–and I was part of it!

A few years later, I saw an acoustic duo cover “Jessica” by The Allman Brother’s at a restaurant I was at with my family. I was 15 years old. It wasn’t long before I picked up my first $100 guitar. I haven’t stopped playing since.

I am so grateful to have music a part of my life.
