Intro to Wet-Felting with Lisa Jordan

Description
Working with a variety of fibers, students will be introduced to the art of wet felting. We will create 8-10 pieces of felt that can be used as a reference piece for future projects, or as art pieces themselves. Applying these principles, the students will feel more confident making larger pieces like journal covers or scarves. Students will learn to make "intentional" mistakes, and how to add yarn, silk, and other materials. Students will work around small resists, how to blend colors, and be introduced to a variety of felting tools, as well as various techniques of agitating fibers.
