Lakes Area Aquatic Invasive Species Meeting

Crow Wing County invites the public to learn more about the county’s aquatic invasive species prevention efforts that were completed this year.

In 2019, the county performed over 16,700 watercraft inspection hours on 43 public access landings across the county, according to officials.

The AIS prevention planning process, implementation of the plan, watercraft inspection/decontamination data, and education/outreach efforts are just some of the topics.

The presentation will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the county land services building at 322 Laurel St. in Brainerd.
