Description
Proving Grounds is our turbo rodeo for imports and sport compact cars at BIR. It features drifting, autocross and open lapping on the road course.
The Proving Grounds features turbo-charged cars and trucks. The fan favorite is the drifting exhibition, where drivers navigate through a course mostly in controlled (or uncontrolled, in some cases) skids. It’s an amazing display of car control – and they make it look so easy!
Autocross is similar in that drivers are timed as they maneuver through a cone-lined course, but they’re slower and more controlled without the skidding. Open lapping is on the road course, where cars aren’t racing against each other but race against the clock while gunning for the quickest time.

Ticket Prices (Gate / Online in advance):
Thu-Sun – $110 / $100 (if purchased online)
Fri-Sun – $100 / $90 (if purchased online)
Sat-Sun – $90 / $80 (if purchased online)
Single Day admission – $50 – not permitted to stay on property overnight. Single day tickets EXPIRE (no longer valid) at the conclusion of racing for that specific day. If you would like to enjoy the Nightlife (includes night drifting and the DJ) events, a MULTI-DAY ticket must be purchased.
VIP Campsites (Sold by the night):
Thursday-Saturday - $150
Friday-Saturday - $100
Saturday Night Only - $50 (Available at the gate only)
Electric - $40 (weekend)
ATV - $50 (valid at both PG-June and PG-September)
