Northern Trackers Open House

Description

The Northern Minnesota Railroad Heritage Association "Home of the Northern Trackers" is in the process of building a one-of-a-kind facility to house model railroad exhibits in Crosslake.  The organization was formed in March 2006 to operate as a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the discovery, preservation and presentation of the rich heritage and importance of the railroad industry in Northern Minnesota.  Previously located south of the Pine River Dam Bridge, and then at its current location, a building fire in 2018 challenged the clubs future.  Through hard work, determination and a supporting community, they are now putting the interior together on a facility that will house these unique exhibits well into the future.
