Quarantingo - What is it?Great question. Quarantingo was born out of an idea that came from the Cities (how I heard of it anyway), to give a shout out to our local small businesses and have fun while doing it. Hey. We like fun.
Prior to each game date - we will make an announcement on this page of which small businesses will be participating. Then, Monday - Wednesday of the game week, when you visit these small businesses, you will receive a Quarantingo Card for that week’s game. One card per visit, please. You can visit as many of the participating businesses as you want to gather cards. Your cards are good for that week only. New cards and card colors are issued each time we play so be certain to pay attention to our Facebook page as to what color is in play for that week.

Then... and this is where it gets good... on the game day at 7 pm tune in to this Facebook page and we will go live with our game. We usually will play 4 rounds of Quarantingo - however, if someone steps in and offers us something cool - we will recognize them and put that into a bonus game. We have had Kayak Adventure trips offered, A half share of a CSA ($300 value) as well as Golfing for 4 with a cart. You play from where ever (at home, with friends, at your favorite brewery - wherever. Your cards are in play for all games so be sure to use something to mark them that you can remove - NOT WITH A PEN OR MARKER, as you will be using all your cards over for this date. Be creative... we may ask you what you are using to cover your cards. Then, if you get a Quarantingo -you need to call it out in the feed comments by saying TINGO and take a picture of your winning card and send it to the phone number provided. We will verify your win and give out the prize package that was announced before the game to that winner. It is up to you to notify us as quickly as possible of your win. Once we say your name as our first Quarantingo of that round you will need to take a picture of your winning card and send it in.
We will go with the first win. In the event of a tie, we will have $10 gift cards that will be mailed.

You are more than welcome to contribute (we have had businesses and individuals that have!) and we will be happy to promote you by putting your logo on that week’s event as well as talk about what you do when we are live on the Game Day. 6. I am not sure how to join a live event on Facebook. What do I do? Go to the BLA Quarantingo page and it will be at the top of the page like a post as you scroll down. If you like and follow the page and videos, you will be notified on your device when the page is live and by clicking on it that notification you will go right to the event. *Another way is to go to the Video section on the left side of the page and click on Videos - when we are live, we will be the first video that pops up in the list. Make certain you are on the BLA Quarantingo page. Do not try to access the event from the event post (when we put up a weekly event about what we are doing) that will not work - you must be on the BLA QUARANTINGO page.
