Calling all crafters and sewers to make masks for Statewide Mask Drive.
If you’re a crafter, sewer, or are the creative type, you can help make masks for the statewide homemade mask drive launched by Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan. These masks will be donated to workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis.
You can donate homemade masks to your local fire department on Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All 775 fire departments in the state of Minnesota will participate. Fire departments will donate the masks to local congregate living facilities for their employees and residents to wear.
