Swim Dock Dedication and Chris Monroe Memorial BenchThe US Army Corps of Engineers in partnership with the Whitefish Chain Yacht Club and the Greater Crosslake Area Foundation will dedicate a new swim dock and Chris Monroe Memorial Bench on Tues. July 20 at 9 a.m. Please attend to celebrate this improvement which provides a better experience for swimming lessons to take place at the campground each summer, and overall public use. A bench is installed on the dock in memory of Chris Monroe, who along with her husband Bill were dedicated and passionate volunteers as Crosslakers, to help guide and improve the quality of life in Crosslake. Bill and his family are traveling from Iowa to be in attendance.
