14 Lakes is named after our distinct Whitefish Chain of lakes, and is located in the heart of the city Crosslake. 14 Lakes was conceived when a building owned by couple Cindy and Steve Guttormson became vacant, giving way to the perfect opportunity to build their dream. After putting word out that they were looking for a brewmaster, they were soon introduced to homebrewer Dan Trombley. Dan soon perfected his craft and brought his experience to 14 Lakes, where he brews all the beers you see today.
Big Axe Brewing Company opened in downtown Nisswa in May 2015. It is a small batch craft brewery with a kitchen. They specialize in producing a variety of full flavored, creative and freshly crafted brews and root beer and offer a fun, relaxing environment in which to enjoy them. They also have a full kitchen and serve delicious soups, salads burgers and sandwiches. Whether you’re catching up with an old friend, or stopping by on a Friday after a hard week of work, you’ll find the company friendly, and the food tasty and the beer cold.
Patrick and Sarah's little brewery started serving the Brainerd Lakes area with fresh, locally-made beer in 2013. Their original brewery and taproom provided the opportunity to test the waters before sinking a boatload of cash into a warehouse full of stainless equipment. They opened a brand-new brewery and taproom in 2017. Their goal is to bring you a quality brew across a wide spectrum of flavors. We offer the best selection of high quality craft beer. That's our goal. It's what we do.
Roundhouse Brewery opened its doors in April 2016. At Roundhouse Brewery, they craft superior beers in a uniquely historic setting. The name was derived from a Roundhouse which was a circle of buildings. The cars were detached and rotated to line up and enter a specific garage stall for repairs or maintenance. Roundhouse Brewery is a family friendly space where people can gather to connect for a good cause, great conversation, and enjoy craft beverages in a unique and historic setting.
